That is some good, sustainable progress, Jared - are you incorporating any exercise in there?
It's not always about weight loss itself, but developing routines that reinforce a healthy lifestyle to keep the weight off. A balanced diet with lean protein and vegetables, along with minimal carbs and starches is one way to go that has worked well for me. http://www.myfitnesspal.com is a good online community tool with related mobile apps for tracking exercise and calorie intake.

                @Katie
Not doing any specific exercise, basically because family/work.

Seriously over the last year we have tried and tried to get some type of consistent exercise schedule working for me. Nothing holds up.
Early morning cannot happen because I simply will NOT get up that early. Period. I know myself better than to even say I can do early morning workouts.
We tried me going to the gym right after I drop the kids off at school, but work simply interrupts too much to make it work.
Tried early evenings but that kept failing due to either working late or having to do something for the kids.
Tried late evening, but by the time the kids are bathed and in bed, and I read story time, I am about to pass out myself. Story time is too relaxing of an activity, and many nights i will fall asleep with the girls.

I was able to add regular exercise the first time around because I worked in a cube farm and had fixed break and lunch times. I used those times to exercise. I would walk up and down 4 flights of stairs for the solid 15 minute break times in the morning and afternoon. At lunch I would walk for ~2 miles.

Now I have a completely flexible schedule and I make use of that to have family time when it is better for my kids. Instead of only seeing dad for 10 minutes int he morning and an hour or two at night.

@JaredBusch I can understand the work/life balance conundrum. I have a hard time fitting in as much exercise as I want.

Bringing back an old topic because i just linked it to someone..

I am at 98.6kg (216.92lbs) this morning. I most certainly have not continued losing like I wanted.

That lack of a way to consistently get exercise that does not impact my schedule is so damned hard.

I am eating healthy, my last blood test had everything in the normal ranges except cholesterol.

Just need to get a routine.

6'4" at 270lbs... really need to start doing some of this stuff. Eating healthier would be a good start though.

My life was in so much turmoil last year that I lost all track of my diet. This year I am really hoping that I can at very least focus on health if not weight loss directly. We moved to Greece on January 1st and so it works out that we will be in countries where eating very healthy will be very easy for a full six months. I'll be walking places all of the time and eating local produce almost exclusively. There is no local restaurant (at least during this season) so no eating out options. All food has to be made at home or with great travel effort.

I am hoping that small village life for an extended period of time will help me to "reset" to healthy eating again.

As I sit here eating a bunch of cherry candies,.. I agree - my physician would like to see me lose about 50lbs.

Working a routine that I can do and stay on task for the office.

I got an apple watch for Christmas. So have set some get up and just move goals for myself. It vibrates to let me know to just stand up. So trying to do something at least a little physical when it tells me to stand. I find I end up sitting in this chair for way longer than I should each day.

Aye, could lose a few more myself. Two years ago I was just over 300, lost 80 in 2014, put on 10-20 in 2015 and now I'd like to drop about 50 of fat and put on 20 of muscle. 5'11, goal weight of 180ish.

Might actually have to start lifting heavy things for no other reason. Irritates me a bit that it's such an unproductive activity other than building muscle mass.

You could get a job somewhere overnight where you lift things. AJ did exactly that to get exercise while making a few bucks.

agreed... have better things to do.

At 6'2" I carry it decently,... but want to rid myself of the extra huff and puff...

That's a good idea... although my wife would kill me if I was away from the house anymore then I already am.

I find exercise to be boring... I've tried a running game (Zombies Run!) and while they take the edge off it still just feels repetitive and like I'm wasting my time. Maybe I need to do the treadmill powered computer thing.

The only thing that worked for me is doing nature hike/jogs. Unfortunately it's a bit cold out for a dip in the lake after but this is my summer route followed by skinny dip. The trails are really gnarly, full of roots and mud and filth. It's pretty satisfying.
