Yeah, no. That wouldn't work. I'd either be wanting to go outside on the sunny days or the birds flying by would distract me so I couldn't get any work done.

Setup a DD-WRT on my old Linksys and then configured it as a Bridge Client with my local AP. Worked like a charm.
Now I'll be donating both my local AP and this old linksys to the in-laws, and setting up my ERL and UAP.

one would think that you would setup the ERL and UAP first. Make sure it works. THEN swap the stuff.

lol seriously bro.. you think I'd leave myself with nothing.. the setup I did last night has not disrupted my home solution at all. Of course I'll switch over to the ERL and UAP tonight, and once that works, visit the in-laws.

Spent the morning on the beach. Then swam with the kids. Getting in the car now to head back to Granada which is five hours away.

ug, installing the wireless bridge was a bust last night. One side was completely unprepared. Oh well, we'll try again next week.
