Depends. In most datacenters they will have remote hands to do this or remote start out of band equipment that is another layer of OOB beyond what IPMI (ILO, DRAC, etc.) does so that even if your entire network is down you can still power on.

We have Dialup OOB Access that allows us to power cycle or access DRACs, Routers and switches.

Don't expect it. They might decide to release that, but likely they won't and they have very good technical and marketing reasons for it. If you really think about what the product is and does, it only truly works as a mesh. Site to site can easily be done by other products. What Pertino does is special and is lost when doing site to site.

Site to site also breaks their pricing model and would require completely different licensing to work.

@scottalanmiller Exactly, otherwise if you could get the real un-altered warranty stats from these companies it'd go a long way to giving you what you want. It'd be a frosty day in hell before they released it, but maybe you could get a NDA and a research grant, release the data in a decade so they are safe.

Why not? Or to put it another way, what are the risks to using HTTPS? How does it fail?

It can only fail if two conditions are met. DNS poisting to move the website, however this would have to be a new website you've never visited before because CA's will not issues the cert for a domain to someone else. Which means the same vulnerability exists when using your home connections. It must be a trusted/known site and be HTTPS.
