Also, how are databases affected, when stored on a vSAN ?
Nothing is affected by vSAN. Block storage is block storage, it's all the same.

The surprising response we received from Apogee is that they've never tested their system with vSAN, nor do they have any customer references for the same... Hence, they would not be supporting it ... Major bummer !!
One of the benefits to someone like Starwind using vSAN instead of something else is that you just remove the "v" because a vSAN is ever bit as much of a SAN as something that doesn't have the "v" in front of it. VSAN is a made up name and doesn't mean anything. Tell them it's connected to a SAN, it's just a high availability SAN with replication - and any enterprise SAN is. So if they don't support SAN, what kind of small customers do they have?
It's all how you present it. Their response to you should have made you respond with "you don't support SAN at all?"
Is the tomato soup part of the challenge or will a consistently controlled tomato soup need to be provided?
How do you have 388gb of free memory in a laptop???
It's an R730 with a hinge glued on and an LCD glued on to that. Hurts your lap a bit and you can't talk to anyone while it is running, but oh the power!
I feel like this needs a special tag like #firstworldsolutions
my question is; which VirtualBox, should I use? theres a dozen or so choices.
It's the list of "platform packages" that you want to pick from. You are not looking for Extension Packs (that's extra software, not VirtualBox itself) and you are not looking for a developer kit. So there are just the four links at the top. One is for Windows, one for Mac OS X, one for Linux and one for Solaris. So you just choose the one for the operating system that you are installing it on.

What is disabled that doesn't stick, when you ask it to?
It's a Lenovo T420, and I disabled a few of the Lenovo services, which also unfortunately disables things like the battery status, wifi, etc. I think part of the problem might be the McAfee. I was testing something and turned off the startup of a couple of the McAfee items, but the services still run. I think that something on that end might be blocking me re-enabling them, so it might be McAfee blocking me from fully re-enabling itself because of "security".
Lenovo, McAfee... this is going downhill quickly!
21 Days Later was going to be the original zombie film, but once they introduced Perl it was too scary.
Just learned about this product today. Have never seen it in action, but learned that their desktop backup for Windows OSes is completely free. Seems like it is worth looking into.

Wondering why Microsoft removed the ability to add more than one Sharepoint/ODfB account to Word 2016.
I logged in this morning, and all my accounts were gone. Now I can only add in one at a time.
Just because they can.
This is why you are never supposed to put a laptop or tablet into checked luggage on an airplane.
It's an American Church Social word for the most part.

I just received this email.
Not sure what their point is in rebranding.
I could... but I'm not.
Confusion?
Strange new branding... At least they didn't name it "G Spot".
With the new name they wanted to hit the G Suite Spot.

Hail Satan and pass the tylenol.
At least they contact you. Sometimes I hear "This has been broken for two weeks" and I want to kill myself
I have a policy: "It's not broken till it is reported. "
Is there a PowerShell method of querying or interrogating Microsoft OneDrive to do things like list folders and files, get modification dates and so forth?
