I just put long pants on for the first time since March (just a guess). After 2 days of rain, the wind came and pushed away the clouds and now it's friggin downright chilly! Well, 63F feels chilly after 90+ degree days for 5 months.
Oh, what a lovely morning! 53F when I walked outside, but you can't fool me, Georgia weather... I brought shorts to deal with the 25+ degree temperature change.
At the office waiting on an HVAC tech to fix our server room AC. It went out last week, and I was surprised to find out that it could be (temporarily) fixed by a power cycle. Our support manager called me yesterday to tell me it's out again (he could hear all the fans spinning as fast as they could), so I had to come out here on a Sunday to...
Turn it off and back on.
But today hopefully it gets fixed.

Excellent compilation of late 60s/early 70s psychedelic rock. All unknown bands, B-sides, etc.
In the studio, trying to edit multi track audio into 1 cohesive, epic song that was recorded in 3 parts.
I'm currently researching and making notes, for soon there will be a post about how RojoLoco IS ABOUT TO HAVE TO LINUX!!!! Well, just 1 Linux. Probably RHEL since that is now free for up to 16 servers.
Not sure how long it will take me to formulate a bunch of dumbass questions, but hopefully not long.

I've done experimental, avant garde pieces from such ambient sounds.
@dashrender I've heard mixed reviews so far, but if the sound design is that good, I will be quite happy watching it. Having that huge, theatrical surround sound makes everything better.
Watching a Dell engineer type commands to set up our new data vault. And the zoom call is from 8am to 1pm, so I'm going to be hella bored today.
@dafyre today's session is actually testing the recovery (sandbox first of course). I'll rest easier knowing that it is working. And then Thanksgiving prep. Hopefully the store still has some collard greens.

We got it easy this year. Just gotta bring the Mac & Cheese and some dinner rolls, lol.
Easy peasy. I like to put some panko on top with the last layer of cheese. Makes a nice, crunchy, melty top layer.
I'm actually organizing files and folders on my admin system. So much accumulated garbage. So many powershell files/scripts scattered everywhere.
Up early on a Saturday... not sure why. Coffee is brewing and we have a bunch of duck eggs, so I think I see brunch in my future. Also have to apply a code update to our fancy, new storage appliance.

We set up a 7 day free trial of Paramount+, so we've been watching a good bit of their content. The new South Park post covid special is hilarious, as is the Reno 911 Search for QAnon. And since my gf is a Stephen King superfan, we watched their version of the Stand... good stuff, probably going to spring for a year.
I've been thinking of getting it. My daughter wants it so bad, she's willing to pay for it. The Stand sounds interesting. Hopefully, they stuck with the book, sorta?
I guess they did for the most part. My gf liked it, but she pointed out some things that were different from the book (not necessarily bad). I enjoyed it.

Looks like a password got out of sync and broke the scheduler service. All this, thankfully, is on our Cyber Recovery system, not production. And no backups were missed, but I will, of course, be monitoring it closely for 24hrs.
