Really hope you're wrapping up the current racks and moving them as units. Our Colo space is an 8x8 cage, so we built it out at the office and had it moved. Unracking 240U is INSANE.

Roasting some red bell peppers and baby eggplants to go with some nice salmon filets and sugar snap peas.

CRAZY weather today... Bands of thunderstorms, heavy rain, flooding, hail, even a couple of tornados. And I got to drive home earlier right on the most intense front edge of the storm. Pulled over twice, still wasn't sure if I was going to make it home. Scary shit.

My back started giving me trouble Friday, by Saturday night I almost couldn't move without being in pain - and Had the tingling and numbness in my lower legs (which is normal for me..) Yesterday it got progressively worse until Bed time when I took some pain killers I have from the last time this happened.
Moving pretty slow today.
Gonna Suck.

I had (still have) lots of pain and tingly numbness left over from a severe B12 deficiency. So be sure to get plenty of vitamins in you, even if that's not the cause.

Thanks for the advice , I'll have to double check that I'm getting enough.

If it drops below a certain point, you have to get it back up with injections. Otherwise a basic multivitamin or B12 /B complex works fine.

@stuartjordan zero issues with new VST3 plugins. Haven't done much VSTi stuff yet. And I'm running all this on an old PC running Win 7... SSD drives running on a SATA2 bus!!! 14 input tracks @ 24/96 is no sweat.

Preparing myself for day 2 of album recording. I'm very happy with the progress we made yesterday in 3 hours or so, drums are all mixed up and sounding good. After some breakfast we tackle the giant amps and speakers that make guitar and bass go. Once preproduction is finished, it should only take 2 practice sessions to get all the basic tracks, maybe 1 more to nail down the vocals.

Got some pizza doughs proofing, about to head to the store for veggies and other toppings. Going to do one with roasted squash/zucchini/red onion, one with grilled shrimp, baby greens, and gruyere. Other combos as well, for we shall be inspired by the produce selections.

Sounds delicious! What style of pizza are you making? Thin crust, thick crust, neopolitan, deep-dish etc.

Neapolitan pizzetas, 8oz dough balls, so they're a generous pizza for one. We will be par cooking on my gas grill, then top it and toss on to the stone under the broiler. We picked up the stuff for a margherita or 2 as well.

Back to work after an amazing weekend. Saw Primus play 2 whole sets (2nd was Rush's album A Farewell to Kings, played in it's entirety), opening act was The Sword, total facemelt. And even had some of my faith in humanity restored by the whole Asheville vibe. One of the few places on earth where you can find a community of people who genuinely give a shit about each other and the planet. Even though it's a tad more touristy than when I lived there in the 90s, but the abundance of music and art are the same... maybe better.

Every house for sale around here gets snatched up by companies for rental property. Quick lipstick reno, $2k a month for a 3/2. Which is why my house has doubled in value in 6 years of ownership. My neighbor turned down a cash offer (as is, no inspection) of nearly 300k, probably triple what he paid 12 years ago.

I just put long pants on for the first time since March (just a guess). After 2 days of rain, the wind came and pushed away the clouds and now it's friggin downright chilly! Well, 63F feels chilly after 90+ degree days for 5 months.
