As for reverse DNS still having an entry - it hadn't been scavenged yet, that's set for 30 days, and the fact that it pulled this name in didn't hurt anything, it was simply odd.

IMO, if using DHCP with DNS settings, not setting an IP or host name during install, I would expect the results you received.

I always set the host name and IP so I have not never run into this issue personally.

      Holy Shit.

Eventually John Wick will run out of people to kill.

Big John Wick fan. Discovered it a little late though. I never go to theaters unless I am super interested in a movie. Just had to see JW-P. Prior to that, the last movie I paid for was a kids movie 3 years ago but don't remember which.

      No doubt.

I like the old SCO UNIX 5.6 and prior install routine. Answer all needed questions with 4 screens and let it install. No muss, no fuss and all is set after it reboots. It was nice.

I bought it on Amazon Prime Video.
Great movie - I feel like watching them one , two than three would be an intense day

Most definitely. Need to wait about another year or two and we should get all three of them on Prime.

Man, that sure is a lot of blood spilled for one afternoon. πŸ™‚

      @alex-olynyk said in Bed Bugs:

Anyone have experience with these? If so did you call a professional and spend 2,000 or use a DIY method? What were the results?

Dealt with this issue twice with my wife when she lived in an apartment.

First time - Apartment called Terminix and we paid for half. Had to throw out all mattresses, and a bunch of little stuff. Every single piece of clothing, blankets, pillows was washed and dried.

Used Saran wrap for all books, CD's, DVD's and bagged up all kids toys then stuffed in Zip Lock bags, and then put in large storage containers in my attic which gets pretty hot in the summer. They were left in there for 6 months.

Anything that could be sprayed with rubbing alcohol was, and then bagged and stored in the storage containers.

All of this took about two days to get done and the washer and dryer were put to the test. Probably about $400 worth of time and materials.

Wife bought all the bed bug covers for mattresses and pillows from WalMart. The decent ones are NOT cheap. Three beds and ten pillows came to $400. It is all about the zipper. Make sure the zippers have a fold over Velcro or something.

The second time, same apartment, Apartment paid all of Terminix Bill and we just washed stuff. I believe management made the other tenant who had the initial infection pay the bill (it was in the contract).

She was moving in with me in 6 months later so the 2nd time was no big deal.

If possible, I would go with the heat treatment as it was VERY expensive at the time. The pricing has come down somewhat. You are still going to have to clean though. Nothing you can do about that.

Start with bagging everything up and then move go whichever route you like.

On KB4480960, MS has a link to a patch in the Windows Update Catalog - KB4487345

None of the fixes worked for me except the patch.

I can tell you that going the week of Memorial Day, there are very few people at the park. It's the first full week that they're open. I highly recommend getting there the first couple of weeks. After the schools let out for summer break, lines get stupid long.

Good point. Fast Pass is nice too. I could just rotate between the Millennium Force, Valraven and GateKeeper all day long and I would be happy. My favorite is the Gatekeeper. The one coaster that gives you a sense of flying, especially if you lean your head forward so you cannot see your feet.

Is there anyone out there using OV non-company wide with spread payments?

If so, I am trying to find out if I should purchase all licenses that I think I MAY need upfront?

If I can add to my license (additional CAL's or Server License), how is it calculated if it is during middle of the license year?

All of our clients, and us too, run Open Value Agreement with the spread payment option. Company-wide was too restrictive so we never did go with it.

Here are the numbers I get using MS License Advisor (for part numbers) with pcm.com pricing.
      Does that look roughly correct?

Oh weird, it was flawless transitioning for us. Did you let it restart on its own or did you manually restart the service?

You have to restart the service anytime you change a setting in the config file.

You aren't supposed to have to. Or at least you weren't supposed to have to in the past. It was supposed to detect changes and reload on its own.

Did you try removing the letsencrypt folder prior to restarting for production mode? I had to do that too, along a couple other things that are now fixed.

When securing SSH with Public/Private Keys, do i need to generate "Keys" for every person that will login?
Or can we "Share" a common key.

I'm locking down some Linux Servers over the next few weeks, they are all internal servers and not accessed remotely via the internet. I'm the main person that will log in via SSH mainly to run updates and change the odd config file, but i want to check if i need to give other users SSH access.

You may want to create a post about this. It could make for a good conversation about SSH key usage in different situations.

Plus, I have pondered the same type of question.

Nope, must not be an emergency. You're emailing me rather than Calling.

Anyone else deal with people like this?

On a daily basis. I've tried to explain 911's require a phone call as I am not constantly in email, at my desk, or have a communication device directly in my hand or driving.

Mostly goes in one ear and out the other, or should I say "eye" for that matter.

Only reason I saw it was because emailed in again.
I called his cell, and got it working. then explained "emails - Not important. Phone call = Important. "
added that to my signature on my email now.. in Quotes.
