Mom jailed after child misses 26 days of school

This is really sad but it sounds like the mom just really doesn't care, about her daughter or anything.

@scottalanmiller Do you think we need a separate tag for StarLink, since they are not truly SpaceX, but a sibling-company?

Fedora 29 on ARM on AWS

This week Amazon announced their new A1 arm64 EC2 Instances powered by their arm64 based Graviton Processors and, with a minor delay, the shiny new Fedora 29 for aarch64 (arm64) is now available to run there too!

Details on getting running on AWS is in this good article on using AWS tools on Fedora article and over all using Fedora on the AWS arm64 EC2 is the same as x86_64.

Getting Chromebooks ready for tomorrow. Rolling over peoples 401k's and they don't even own a computer. <smh>

Why do they need a computer now? There isn't a form they can fill out and have some keyboard monkey enter the changes?

Keyboard monkeys cost more then chromebooks.

This is HR's shindig. We're just following orders. They want the people to enter their own information. Especially for potentially 400 people.

What time do guys normally schedule reboots? During business hours? Early mornings? Late evenings? Weekends only?

Depends on duties and priority of the systems it supports and the benefits of the changes being made. Typically they are either late night/very early morning or weekend. If it can be done during lunch hour, then its done during lunch hour.
