I'm hoping to talk the wife into playing some Blue Toad tonight. Two episodes left to go.
Is it just me, or does that sound like some weird....intimate game...

Yeah, we used to get it loads, happened on a domain with loads of VLAN's - seemed to be that the GPO would say to map before the connection was fully established, especially for users on higher VLAN's...Users realised if they clicked them 99% of the time they would connect though so no major dramas...

I really wish they'd release Fable 2 on the PC. I played that a long time ago on the 360, and I enjoyed it the most of the series.
I know it's not the same...but is there not an emulator for it..?
I don't have Fable 2. I borrowed it from a friend who subsequently got rid of it. I may have to see if I can get my hands on a copy though.
Yeah...get hold of a copy....that's what I meant....

Just got home, and my new router has arrived! New SSID names? I'm thinking "Meth-Lab-Guest-WiFi" 2.5GHz and "Meth-Lab-Cook-WiFi" for the 5.0GHz?
Mine are "I can hear you having sex!" and "Louder! That's my fetish!"
wow.

Pretty sure that in the US that would constitute the right for the police to enter your house without a warrant.
Probably Which is why I'm glad I'm not in the US :')

If you can get the HDD out and connect to another machine as a secondary drive, can you get the data that way? (not tried with Win10 install, so not sure if it locks it down...)
As long as you don't have drive encryption enabled, you will have full access this way.
Of course individual files could have encryption, but I can't see why that would have been affected by this.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, then, when you have the data, you can factory reset and do it right the second time around.

Sounds like we are all in agreement then.
CIO and IT staff should have two accounts -
normal every day account = non admin
admin account for admin tasks = admin level.
And everyone should be on the domain... EVERYONE especially the chairman...

There is no promise to job but if the training goes well means the selection process will begin if not i need to search a new job after 45 days.
Then yeah, I agree with the others that it sounds like a bad scam, and sounds like you might get screwed over...

Just got to work was -2 this morning! Brrrrrr (hush Canada)! Actually wore trousers instead of 3/4s...but traffic was good so took ~45mins
-1 for me (Wales, UK) and ~45mins to get in as traffic was bloody awful this morning 40mph most of the way!
Yeah, I'm based in Oldham (north Manchester) Hah 40mph is awful traffic?! 5mph is awful traffic... on a perfect run it takes me ~30 mins to get to work
I've always classed backup as a conscious effort to make a copy of something for the sole purpose of being able to recover it if it all goes south...accidentally duplicating/storing in cache etc in my opinion isn't a backup as it isn't reliable...but then, some "backup solutions" can be far from reliable too!!

Yeah, I swear lots in life (ex-mechanic, nuff said? :P) but never in a professional setting, there's a time and a place, and I can filter things easily enough...I use several forums, and mod a few, I don't think an open forum should have excessive cussing for the sake of it personally...you can get a point across without it, same with life when I talk to certain people, I know to engage filter before mouth opens
