i cannot find the timer, and it seems i need to configure a set/group first, then point to that set/group and assign the extension number. its not an on/off field and point to extension number.

I thought the switch sends the signal up to 100 meters, and if the other end switch will also send up to 100 meters...oh yeah. signal doesn't handshake..toink.

I need to setup a Video Conference System for Hotel's small meeting room (10 persons). 2 years ago on different company we use Big Screen, Webcam with very long USB cable mounted on top of Big Screen, laptop, gotomeeting account and Octagon conference phone.

The laptop will connect to gotomeeting for video and big screen display and use the conference phone to call the gotomeeting number. We never get a success to use the laptop for both the voice and video during the conference call so we always use the combination.

Is there a better way of doing this like a video conference system with camera with speaker/mic then connect directly to the big screen w/out the aid of the laptop that will not cost you arm and leg? or the above is the practical approach.

Is there a software that i can install in my laptop as an alternative for Cisco IPPhone? We use Cisco 7911 (Mitel 3300 PBX) but I'm hoping i can have IP-Phone software on my laptop so I can call anywhere on my laptop as long as i'm on the company network.

I have Dell 6000 docking station and Dell 7480 laptop. The docking station has usb port, display ports and power. The laptop is charging when its connected to the docking station. Is leaving the laptop connected even full charge will not going to damage the laptop battery?

How to configure Cetis 3300 IP Phone? I was able to put pbx IP address and ports but i get "register failed".

Is it correct to have file level backup of the files of the File Server even the File Server is backup on VM level? I'm planning to have weekly, monthly and yearly backup of the files.

Does it make sense to have NAS to backup files of File Server even the file server is a VM?
