Hi,
Q1. What are the options for guest A office to connect their office LAN (computers/printers) to their head office aside from IP sec tunnel?
Our network has 2 guest WIFI vlans, 1 is public guest WIFI and another is for guest A which is an office.
Guest A needs their office to be connected to their head office, they said they usually use IP sec to connect to main office.
We have 2 ISP and one of them is down now.
Q2. What are the things I need to be aware and prepared with regards to my network for Guest A connection requirements?
Hi,
Lately one of my Windows 2008 Server passwords will not work until you restarted the server. After that everything will be back to normal. Is there any service that I can restart instead of restarting the entire box? Or how to fix the issue?

Hi,

Hi,
I need to setup a Video Conference System for Hotel's small meeting room (10 persons). 2 years ago on different company we use Big Screen, Webcam with very long USB cable mounted on top of Big Screen, laptop, gotomeeting account and Octagon conference phone.
The laptop will connect to gotomeeting for video and big screen display and use the conference phone to call the gotomeeting number. We never get a success to use the laptop for both the voice and video during the conference call so we always use the combination.
Is there a better way of doing this like a video conference system with camera with speaker/mic then connect directly to the big screen w/out the aid of the laptop that will not cost you arm and leg? or the above is the practical approach.
Where do the trunkline numbers configure? Is it from the ISP or from the company PBX? So the company will have 1 main telephone number and 6 or more numbers to handle the calls. Where is it configured? from the ISP side or the company PBX side? what causes the mainline to give a busy tone/message instead of handling more simultaneous calls?

In a multi-controller setup, assuming you have DNS - and the clients local to the DC are using the DC as that DNS source, then you should be able to cut off the other remote DCs at any time and everything local should just still work.
I'd check the print server's settings and make sure it's using the local DNS server as it's source.
Thanks will look into this.

So far only Print Server, mapped printers is showing access denied
you don't think this is related?
aren't they considered the same?

What exactly is failing? So far only Print Server, mapped printers is showing access denied
Here's a thought - do you have local DNS? Yes That might be the whole issue here.
If your local DC doesn't have DNS, and you can't get the central DNS servers, that would explain why you can't get to some functions.
But beyond that - I think we need more details on what exactly does and doesn't work. Is printing the only thing affected? Yes Do you have file shares? Yes can you get to the internet? Yes
Can you log into the Print Server server? - Yes
Please tell us about your server setup - is it a single VM host with two VMs (a DC and a Print Server)? DC and Print Server is separated What OS is are the servers? 2012

FSMO roles.
what roles should my onsite DC has so it will function properly even the main branch is down? I have an onsite DC and an onsite Print Server. But I don't want any other branch to be dependent on my branch DC server either.
RID, PCD and Operations Masters. These 3 roles are domain wide, each domain should have these roles. We don't know how's your domain setup, whether it's a forest, or just one domain for all sites. If one domain, these roles were probably held by domain controller at main data center, so you're sol. You could seize the roles, but once main site comes back, you're in a world of hurt.
it seems like we should have opted to have multiple domains on 1 forest instead of 1 domain for the entire forest that used by all branches. the current design is flawed and all branches will have to be dependent on the main branch.

@marcinozga yes. the users get error access denied and unable to connect to the printers. I also get not accessible - don't have permission when browsing the IP address of the print server.
@gjacobse i usually browse my printers via ip address of the printer server
Noob here, so my branch is part of the Domain with 5 locations. My branch has its own DC Server and Printer Server. My branch printers stop working a week ago since the main branch encounter problem with their data center. So it seems my printer server got affected.
Question. We have our own DC server and I assume our printer server should not be affected but that's not the case. Why is it? is there anything I can do? or I need to wait for the main branch to fix their data center.
