      Standby......

      Obviously, this will be the result of a specific call, and RTP ports are randomly negotiated, but it will tell you what that call tried to do. So you can then look at your NAT and Firewall settings and see if something is weird.

      I have two locations with PA Systems. Identical setups. One of them just stopped passing audio.

      Not passing audio tells us little.
      Is the device registered?

      If it is registered, pop sngrep on the command line and make a phone call to it.

      Look at what ports it is trying to set up for the audio channel.

      @BraswellJay said in Unable to mark NAS location trusted in Office:

      I have a similar issue with a 3rd party developed application that uses an access database. The only way I could find to workaround was to add the trusted location through a registry edit. Here is the notes I have on what I did

      I was able to add \\FileServer\Data\ via the built in GUI, by clicking Add new location and then browsing to Network and clicking on the FileServer item, etc. This added the location like this. This works, as I can open the file and have no warning about disabled macros, but is a work around. The Mapped Drive should work also.

      I then exported the key and tweaked it to add K:\ in Location1.
      No luck opening the file via K:\ does not work.

      Even though it does show up in trust center after adding via the registry.

      As a side note, I can not click on K:\ entry in the GUI either. I can click on the other two entries.

      @JaredBusch I had same problem recently. Solution was to use name instead of IP address.
      I had to map folder as \\FILESERVER\Data

      as I noted in the OP, that did not work.

      Looks like I have to do the same.

      In our case the version of access being used was 2007 and I have to install the access 2007 runtime on each machine that runs the application. That also is where the 12.0 comes from in the registry key path. That may be different if the access version is not 2007.

      Office 365 "always" up to date. but i'll go dig for that key.

    • Unable to mark NAS location trusted in Office

      Customer has a bunch of Access files with macros.

      Macros cannot be run because I cannot mark the shared folder as a trusted location.

      File location: \\192.168.1.11\Data Mapped as k:\.

      Going into Microsoft Trust center, I cannot mark the location as trusted with either syntax.

      Nope, that is not the context of your quoted information.

      @garak0410 in your With fd section, you will have something to specify the directory. I think it is InititalFilename

      With fd
          .AllowMultiSelect = False
          .InitialFilename = "\fileserver\drafting\logos\"
          With .Filters

      @WrCombs You cannot hide your SSIDs on Eero. You also have a limit of your Main SSID and Guest Network. It is geared for Home and really small environments.

      https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/214588166-Why-can-t-I-hide-my-network-SSID-with-eero-

      Why Eero over Ubiquiti? Business versus consumer. Does the pro version have APs with wired connections?

      Prob because management is much easier. I ditched my APs and edgerouter for a single Amplifi which I can update and control from my phone. My mom has a Deco setup and it works very similarly and is great as well.

      Easier if you do it yourself. But if you have a support company, I think the Unifi is easier. The Eeros always made for a lot of extra work when we had to deal with them.

      At a former job, we had an Amplifi system that caused ~8 hours of un-needed billable time. If it would have been a UniFi system, we could have fixed it without the site visits.

      You can grant remote access to Amplifi. Aftyer I set it up at my mom's, with her credentials, I then added myself as a remote admin.

      To be honest, this is actually a good thing. It's pretty hard to explain just how much I had to deal with that was completely unrelated to Skyetel's core products and services.

      Now with this clarification of reasoning, I have no concerns at all. Thanks.
