Last year I moved a Vm from HyperV to Vmware, It had Sql Server with a database of 300Gb, for Ms Ax.

I just stopped all Ms Sql Server services and migrated using VMware Standalone Converter.

After the migration I started all Sql services again and everything worked.

For editing only free alternative I've found is LibreOffice, but it quite limited.

For merging I like pdf24, It works great.

I don't think those licences are legal.

This was one of the reasons we leave sonicwall in the company, apart of the support cost.

Now with Pfsense using VpnSite all problems disappears.

I don't think Pfsense is difficult to manage.

Even mount a HA is quite simple.

Rasberry Pi 1, with 256Mg.

I use it for:

• Pi-hole
• Openvpn server
• Download torrents with transmission
• Share file using Samba

It has still 30 Mb free of memory.

I like Prtg, It's free for the first 100 sensors.

Ransomfree create a few folders in the system with many dummy files inside (.doc .jpg .xlsx..)

In case one of these files change, Ramonfree block the computer and ask you if you allow these changes.

Ransim just check his installation folder so Rasomfree cannot detect it.
