RE: CloudatCost and Pertino
I wonder if C@C is having issues today... I can't connet to my server at all.

RE: CloudatCost and Pertino
@thanksajdotcom What about billing from Pertino?
... but I doubt they would go through and remove interfaces like that though...
-
RE: CloudatCost and Pertino
Any chance you forgot to pay the bill? Or that they did not bill you correctly?

RE: Why Do People Have Conferences in London?
My Parents got to go to New York once... They both said it was great, but that they were glad to be back home, lol.

RE: Official //build/ 2015 Thread
I am checking out VSCode now. It kinda reminds me of the Brackets editor that I'm using for PHP...(http://brackets.io)

Anderson is a nice area. There's a few colleges there too if you could handle working in an education environment, lol.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Yeah... My phone bill is topping $200 a month for 2 phones and a tablet @ 3GB of data.
Before my Note 3, I had signal everywhere I went with Verizon (except for a few places)... But with this Note 3, I have no signal more often than I have a good signal, it seems. And now with this Lolipop update, I have to reboot the phone a couple of times a day for it to even process emails and such (even when connected to wireless!).
I mainly blame the phone, as I know other Verizon phones don't seem to usually have a signal, even when mine doesn't, lol..
I'm checking in with the locals to see how well T-Mobile works in this area. I've heard to stay away from Straight Talk & Cricket in this area.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@scottalanmiller What company did you switch to? Verizon is great around here, but they are the most expensive... I don't mind paying a premium if I know my phone is going to work when I need it.

RE: Open Source Databases Threatening the Established Proprietary Market
@scottalanmiller Yet another thing added to my "To Learn" list... I think my C@C server is going to be busy for a while, lol.
I'm testing out GitLab, OwnCloud, and everything else on my "To Learn" list that involves some flavor of Linux.

RE: Open Source Databases Threatening the Established Proprietary Market
@scottalanmiller https://www.meteor.com/ is another project that defaults to MongoDB. I just stumbled across that one a few days ago... I've been tinkering with it on C@C...
It seems interesting... admittedly, I haven't tried Node.js yet.

@dominica just zapped herself on the wall socket. She just got to experience the extra voltage of the European power system.
Well now... That was a shocking experience!

RE: Open Source Databases Threatening the Established Proprietary Market
@scottalanmiller I guess I need to add that one to my list of "to learn" things... I have a decent handle on running MSSQL and MySQL, but I haven't done any Linux failover with MySQL (don't plenty with Windows).
All of the FOSS applications that I learned on almost always seemed to use MySQL, lol.

Something in the room that I am in is flashing and I cannot figure out what it is and it is driving me freaking crazy.
You know you have spent too much time in the ME games if you are looking for a little blue or red markers around things you are looking for..

RE: Open Source Databases Threatening the Established Proprietary Market
Some of the longer lived Open Source Databases have become just as reliable, scalable, and user friendly as a lot of the commercial ones, I think.

RE: Interview at IBM Tommorrow(26-Apr-2015)
I'm suprised that kind of stuff isn't illegal here in the stats... and if it is, more people need to know about it!

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@scottalanmiller Sadly, no, I have not . I got ME2 as part of a bundle... I will likely get ME1 and 3 the same way, or get them off of Steam or Humble bundle should I stumble across some extra $$.
-
RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I been playing ME2 for the first time ... Got it in one of the Origin Bundles a few weeks ago. It seems to be quite fun so far. I really enjoy the story line.
I really enjoyed KOTOR and KOTOR 2 also.

RE: Interview at IBM Tommorrow(26-Apr-2015)
Did you actually get the interview done?
-
RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Yeah... be careful out there! <insert don't drink and drive rant here>.
Like ThanksAJ, I'd fail a field sobriety test because of my hearing, lol. I can walk a straight line and even stand on one foot.... But the moment they tell me to close my eyes, it's game over.
