@scottalanmiller Hmm... Maybe I should open my own hosting company and maybe even get them to fund it, lol.
I think that would be a fun adventure, even if not successful!

I highly suspect that Apple has been working on something secretly.
Have you seen anything that would indicate this? Based on Apple's post Steve Jobs' record they haven't innovated much in quite some time. I don't think they have ever officially acknowledged that anyone would want a keyboard for working on an iPad. I'm not trying to be critical, but a solution like this doesn't fit with the Apple I know and support.
It seems like I remember reading some things about OS X having touch screen support built in a couple of years ago, but I can't seem to find it now. Maybe it was a dream, lol. A cursory google shows up somebody with a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeHFRpj_zC8) of the Yosemite beta with a Lenovo touch screen.
I fully expect to see "OS X" go away, and IOS become the next Apple OS... If they pull it off right, it will be like what Microsoft is trying to do with Continuum.
They Seriously need to be using Zabbix or something for monitoring their links...
I highly suspect that Apple has been working on something secretly.
As for me, if I have my phone or tablet connected to a keyboard & mouse, I can usually remote desktop into something that is more desktop-ish. But this would be sweet to have applications that scale up like that -- and act like their desktop counter parts.
@tonyshowoff Aww, come on. I'm good for it man! At least find me my own nigerian prince to help!
@BMarie Sounds like today is put on a dang helmet day.
At least we're not the ones in the ditch having to splice fibers by hand. Been there, done that, not fun. I worked with the fiber guy at my last job, and it took him half a day to get a 6 or 12 (I forget which) strand run straightned out. It was crazy.
I can't imagine what a metro fiber line would be like.

I already got my cheque, I'm glad I was able to help that prince of Nigeria get his money out safely.
Welll dang, I missed my chance! Maybe I could borrow some money from you?
What supports C#? Running remotely or VSCode itself?
@thanksajdotcom Reverse engineering stuff is fun! Unless you are under a lot of pressure, lol.
That sounds kinda cool, if it will actually work that way, but not likely since it would have to deal with Authentication, disconnected sessions, etc, etc.
That may be an idea-bug you could put in the developer's ear.
Right now, I'm enjoying using Brackets (http://brackets.io) -- it has a really nice Git plugin and is free... If I were doing something cross platform, I'd consider VSCode a bit more. But I mainly develop in PHP which includes cross platform by default, lol.
I'm testing out VSCode at the moment. It seems to be alright. I haven't tried any GIT stuff with it yet, but that's coming too.
@scottalanmiller I'm testing Jitsi now. It looks pretty sharp!
Works great with my Facebook account. I'll test it with my Jabber server after CAC is back online.
@thecreativeone91 https://spiceworks.github.io/developers.spiceworks.com/
I don't know why everybody complains Spiceworks these days. It used to be really awfully, painfully slow. I used the inventory piece since v1.x... That part is still kinda sluggish some times. The Helpdesk though, has been awesome since v6.x. It worked out really well for the guys at my last job. They're on 7.3 now. 8-)
I am mainly getting it, just I can help people debug widgets and such, lol.
Back to waiting on computers again... Waiting on Spiceworks Dev edition to install on one server, and waiting on SQL Server to install on another.
Any of the CAC guys on here know what's going on?
@g.jacobse You better check the fax machine.
