Contemplating all of my life choices as I swear I'm being gaslit at work continuously.
Not sure if it's time to update the resume or what..
If there's any doubt, it's probably time. Especially if those doing the gaslighting are on your own team or are in the immediate chain of command above you.

Marketing lingo dispensed with, hyperconergence is ease of use. It's IT infrastructure for people who don't have time to fuss over IT infrastructure. And by that definition, Scale has served me extremely well. So kudos to Scale...
...and long may the Scale Legion reign!This.... very much this... They do it extremely well!

So what is the solution. I've been using Lastpass since 2008... I think I'm going to go through that account this week and pull out all the accounts I know I use on a regular basis and put them in a KeePass database.... no matter what I do this is going to be a long process.
I'm Using KeePass + ownCloud to keep my database up to date on all of my machines.

Getting the thread made, what topics would people be interested in seeing next year? While we are still here, might be a good time to discuss what would be useful while we are freshly thinking about it.
I bet this thread explodes with cool stuff the day after MC is over. "Things we would have liked to see" will probably get brought up...
That's the whole idea. 8-)

RE: Introductions
I got my first exposure to Scale when building a 4-Node cluster as an upgrade to a VMware setup. It's been a great experience!

@dafyre nope, we don't really have competitors and we have a very large customer base already, so we have zero need to use self promotional posts on free forums to drum up business.
Nothing wrong with self promoting & drumming up business. 8-)

Live Steam with the option to buy @scottalanmiller a shot
Throw in an extra $5 and I will totally do that
I'm dead serious I will do that. Before this happens: @scottalanmiller I am so sorry. Digging into the bank for that.
I should state $5/shot
That's the only way I'd do it lol. Who will win: my wallet or @scottalanmiller's stomach. Tune in to find out!
My condolences to your wallet.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I am actually just getting to work today since my son had tubes put in his ears this morning. Everything went well, and he was hanging from the ceiling fans when I left the house. (I think the docs gave him a shot of adrenaline or something, lol).

Right, but then they don't update it? How can you have enough resources to create an application and then not enough to update it with the platform it's built on?
Why waste money updating something if your customers don't leave you anyway? That's not good business.
