Are their any owners of MSP's or Break Fix shops for SMB's?
Have you tried email marketing? If so, what topics have you found the most successful?

Welcome @Tech1
Thank you,
Hello! My name is Angie and I am a complete newbie, I am currently working towards getting certified and get as much hands on experience as I can.
Welcome Angie!
I have a client who wants to record from a webcam (audio/video) and be able to edit the video. He has been doing this with Movie Maker but is trying to find a replacement since Movie Maker is no longer supported.
Any suggestions?

@scottalanmiller Putting where you served a church mission, statements under Interests & Skills - Outgoing father for my daughters are wholly inappropriate as well.
I don't care what your religious beliefs are or if you are proud of being a father when I consider your resume'.
The exception to the church rule should be if what you did is directly related to the job you are applying for ie: PC Technician or Sound Technician... Paid or not, that should be listed under Previous jobs and not under interests & skills.
In this case it wasn't a job. It was a mission for their church, totally volunteer and not employment.

Wondering what I should reply, boss over my shoulder....
What am I doing? Looking over her shoulder. (Encouraging her to join here to learn.)
When I see C:\system volume information\ (and a string of numbers/letters) I am normally seeing very high hard drive usage. Unfortunately the photo doesn't show high disk usage, but shows the path. What exactly is that? (vs. a traditional file path and file name)

I know that there are a lot of 'fake' jobs out there, but I am not getting any hits despite my eperience and wonder if it's my resume. Can anyone suggest a resume writing company that won't break the bank?
- I do not think that you resume is the main reason that you are not "getting any hits" (although you can and should improve it). I have done hundreds of interviews (as employer) and I would call you if I offer the job that you want (sysadmin, helpdesk manager...)
- You should describe your experience in CCWtech in more detail where it is in your favor. For example, you can name more tools that you are expereinced with (Powershell, KVM, VMWare, HyperV, XCP-NG, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.....)
It would be great if you can list projects or achievements that you have done.- Have you managed other people? If you have, it should be clearly stated in resume. I do not see it in your resume, and it is important experience for any managing position (like Helpdesk Manager)
- Email address in your resume should be personal, not business (unless you are owner os CCWtech)
Note: Are your jobs at Police and CCW really overlap from 2008-2014 as it states in you resume?
1 - Thanks.
2 - Ok, adding some to my resume
3 - Noted and added
4 - I am the owner
And yes, there is overlap.
I know there is a tough market right now... I have only had 2 places interview me...
On one, I talked to the hiring manager, it was odd, she told me that most of her interviews only went 20 minutes but we talked for about an hour... she told me she wasn't sure she could give me enough money to make me want the job... Which I replied to not count me out because of that. She even asked that if I was given an offer and turned it down if she could pass my resume along to other managers there for higher paying jobs, which I said yes, but told her again not to count me out for this job... 2.5 weeks later after hearing nothing I got the standard "We have moved on without you" email...
I'm still applying and will try with these new tweaks and see what happens.

@dustinb3403 something like that.
But for a while now I think I have to pay attention to the road.
let's see... 80 MPH (117 Feet per second) and given the road conditions a 389.25 ft stopping distance, in Fog, while taking a photo with a cell phone... Ummmmm, yeah. You are probably right.

It seems to be affecting insider editions. At least that is what I've seen mentioned in the various articles.
If so, a really good reason not to be a beta tester for M$
Wow... where is the 'dislike' button? That stinks. I'd love to see what a good alternative is.

Yeah good call... Damage control at this point. Wow, just WOW.
I have a client that when they go to finance.yahoo.com they will often get a pop up Window for a Firefox update and asking them to run a firefox-patch.js file. They are smart enough to not run it.
It only happens in Firefox, and only on Yahoo Finance.
In the lower left hand corner, instead of loading and stopping, it keeps trying to load different pages.
I have run every known AV Scanner, looked for issues using FRST and even nuked and paved. After nuke & pave, going back to finance.yahoo.com I still get the the pop-up. This happens on any computer in the network.
I am even using Webroot Filtered DNS as the forwarder on the Windows DNS Server as well as in Untangle.
I'm scratching my head trying to think of what else may be causing this.
We are getting bounces from Zoho Email to Gmail emails.
LOL - I was getting the opposite a few days ago.
Resumรฉ creating event? Google is struggling.
Also, study after study shows that the #1 reason people quit is job satisfaction. I don't believe I.T. is an exception. I think an employee who feels valued will stay at an employer longer than one who doesn't feel appreciated.

If sneezes are hurting people, then maybe we need to look at writing laws that bans sneezes.
If you sneeze uncontrollably 50 times in a row is that an assault nose?

The one ask I have of MeshCentral is Wayland support.
That's an issue with MANY remote access software. But for sure a nice feature to have.
When setting up a Windows Server Hyper-V Host, should that host be a member of the domain or just left as a workgroup?
@dustinb3403 No, trust me... she was serious... AND she asked that AFTER being in the computer on Teamviewer.
I'm about to hang up and call back and see if I get someone else to answer the phone.
