I'm glad soup season is in full swing. Made some corn chowder with bacon and red potatoes last night. Perfect fall dish.

Ahi poke (with mangoes!) and some unagi. And I love that Natsu includes some shrimp toasts with the poke.

where they all right next to each other? Then you took it home?
Growing up, short of the fam hitting one place while a child perhaps ran to the fast food place next door - this kind of diversity never happened, no chance pops was going to drive through 3 restaurants.

Village of 7,500 way out in the country.... has a giant 24/7 grocery, a giant Super Walmart, Tim Hortons, Wendys, McD's, KFC, Taco Bell, Denny's, Rancho Viejo, Pizza Hut, BK, a few dinners, a few pizza places, a few sub places, a European cafe, a burrito place, six or seven bars, a few fancy places, one Chinese take away, one Chinese buffet, a couple normal cafes.... nice town.

WOW - that's a TON of places for only 7500 people.
