Just had the last half piece of real tomato pie smuggled in from Utica.
I was perusing Salvador Dali's cookbook last night and saw a tomato pie recipe.
Interesting, I wonder how it is.
It's very classic French cuisine, lots of butter and cream in everything. But the picture looked great. We are apparently going to have a "Dali Dinner" and cook a bunch of stuff from it one night.
Dali is from like 15 minutes from the French border on the Riviera, so that makes sense.

I grew up with a stove kettle. After having awesome electric kettles in Europe, my dad bought one and uses it daily. It's awesome. We move around too much to bother to buy one for ourselves. But the roommate has one and we use it constantly.
