I would never write off a company jut based on phone support. But that said, it completely sours the product in question.
-
Well, if their public support team can't help you then yeah... it's time to move on... I'd give them a day or two to respond before publicly announcing you are ditching Apple watches...
-
I had an issue with iCloud. (Couldn't access it on any web browser.) I was very shocked at how bad the first few support people I spoke with were.
When I finally spoke with someone helpful, they got it fixed.
Hope you find that person quickly.

In order to get any resolution on having the watch checked out I have to take pics of the watch, pics of my wrist, and then send them in. Then I need to wait on if they think they will do anything about it.
Now if I was trying to sue them or something this makes sense. I just want them to look at the damn watch!

Tell them to just give your money back if they cannot provide support. Post on Twitter than you just want a refund if support can't fix it.

Ya my fitbit band started to come apart. I did have to send a single picture of the band, but they sent me a new one no other questions asked. I didn't have to provide proof or purchase or anything.

Yes that I understand, broken product? Prove it, well I can't cause the watch looks fine. I was totally ok with shipping it to them to have to check it over. But that sentiment is quickly disappearing. I have taken pics just to have them.! Here are the DM's from twitter so far (some removed due to personal information)

Time to fine a report: http://www.cpsc.gov/

Electrical shocks are not an option for Apple to deal with. I would make that clear to them. This is not a request for service, this is a legal requirement.

Oh ya I get your point. I was just pointing out how easy it was to deal with FitBit, in case you do go that route. They are very friendly.

Have you tried an Apple Store?

Yeah I am looking at getting a Fitbit instead. Time to move away from the Apple Watch

No it's an hour away and been too busy to get to. I might want to try that route. But if this is the response from support in general (which I am not saying it is, you get bad support people from time to time), than it would be a wasted trip.
-
Might be worth it, the Store tends to have very different processes than the phone in support.

Lots of issues there

My wife had Apple Watch, we returned it after a few days, battery wouldn't last until evening charge. What you're describing is clearly faulty watch, if you have Applecare, just insist on express replacement option, or demand appointment at Apple Store or authorised service center.
If they really want to see pictures of your burns, I'd go to a doctor and get a report, then visit a lawyer, and then let the legal teams handle that. Getting electrocuted is no joke, if you had a pacemaker, this could pose serious health risk.

Seriously, have your attorney send a letter, that will get some action.
