All-hands-on-deck maintenance from Saturday night to early Sunday morning :(. At least it helps pass the time as I await interview results on Monday :).
Interview Results?
Yes. Commute is unsustainable. Thus, I’ve been on the hunt for a similar gig that’s remote.

Shoveling...Lots of Shoveling

I'm about to go start swapping long network cables for short ones. Obviously I should do it since I was the one who provided the correct lengths and quantities to buy before we started the project.
-
My weekend is me hiding in the office and recording content until the sun goes down. Then me editing content.
-
I just got a ticket for Ohio Linux Fest. I'll only be able to attend Saturday, but looks like some interesting things happening.

This past weekend was a trip to Managua for Liesl's birthday. We had a blast.

This coming weekend we are moving into our new home (rental) in Sutiava.

Weekend plans:
Clean out my work travel bag in preparation for the new office Monday. It feels odd not being ready to do what I have done for just under two years.Few things to finish paper work wise for Monday, ,… but Monday will sort out the rest and orientation and a full employee and not contract…. So many people were shocked to find out I was leaving and still a contractor.
Many tried to get me to stay,.. and I would have if the previous director hadn’t done some things.
And thus we grow- moving forward. …

My oldest is 10 this is his birthday weekend big party today. Breakfast Fiesta tomorrow

Rainy Saturday... Not helping the effort to dry out the new kitchen floor. The water line to the ice maker had been leaking long enough for water to appear between the boards. Luckily it's fancy new laminate that is waterproof. The manufacturer guarantees it for 72 hours completely underwater, and my contractor said it's fine as long as we get it dry. So every fan and space heater has been called to activate duty, and I got a dehumidifier to boot.

Well, after the conference, I think it's time to give tower another look. A lot has changed, and it should be stable now.
