@scottalanmiller If you guys are interested, I admin a G+ community for a Minecraft and ARK server owned by a friend of mine. If you want to join and get the game info, let me know.
I don't play either of those. The kids do tons of MC. I've not even seen ARK. I've seen it in pictures and conversations, but have not seen it played, that is.

Just picked up a GTX 1080 from Nvidia (they have them back in stock right now). Gonna be a fun weekend!

Took advantage of the Steam sale this weekend to get a third and a forth Steam Controller and a Steam Link, too.

I finally started the download of the PC FFX/X-2 last night. Should be ready by the time I get home!

I'm really liking my Steam Controller. It works for 90% of games. I'm even playing Overwatch, a non-Steam game, with it. Not as nice or as accurate as a keyboard and mouse but usable enough to be competitive.

We use ours continuously. We have some four player games and it would be nice to be able to game as a family. Almost never would we play four player, but three player quite often.

Do those games have to be Steam Controller compatible? Or do you just map them depending on the game?

Just map them. We use them for tons of games that are not in Steam. Don't even have to run them through Steam. You can use the controllers to just use the desktop, too.

Anyone played with the Steam Link yet? Wondering what to expect.

I haven't. I was tempted to pick one up over the weekend but some of the reviews have been... meh. It sounds like In-home steaming isn't up to snuff quite yet.

That's too bad. I'll be testing it over the summer, so we will see.

Please let us know how it goes. Apparently the latency made the game seem slow and there was significant input lag. One of the reviewers even mentioned their home/office setups was 1Gbe with the PC and Link sitting next to each other on the same switch.

As the Link isn't a GigE device, I'm not sure what the point of that would be. It's going to limit down to 100Mb/s no matter what.

I think the point of the clarification was that his network was up-to-snuff and met the minimum requirements for the Link.
