Well, a quick update on my N64 nostalgia run--I'm halfway through Goldeneye, working on gathering stars in Mario 64, and planning on starting Ocarina of Time tonight.
In other news, my personal productivity has taken a giant nosedive.
Loved Ocarina of Time as a kid. It was a load of fun as it made you think as to what age you needed to be for something else to happen, either in the future or the past.
I felt that Majora's mask was terrible and the mask got annoying after a while. Haven't finished Skyward sword yet as kids get in the way and such. They're always wanting to play.

My wife loves Ocarina. Recently got the 3D version on 3DS.

I played Ocarina of Time as a kid too, but never fully completed it, so I'm excited to jump back in.
Goldeneye has completely tickled my nostalgia bug, as has WWF No Mercy.

You are only a year or two younger than me, so yeah.

Really hoping to finish our current Nancy Drew game tonight with the kids.

Been flying all over the place with this sim: http://gefs-online.com/gefs.php
Love the fact that it's free and enough planes to keep you occupied. Plus, it runs in the browser, so no installation.
Let me say it one more time....It's FREE!!!!

Only game I've had time to play in the last couple of weeks has been Naruto Ultimate Ninja Blazing on iPhone. I haven't touched Project 1999 in two weeks.
-
The kids got The Sims 3 on their iPads and played that for a bit tonight.
-
Just picked up Lara Croft Go. $4.99

The Flame in the Flood is currently killing me repeatedly.

How is that? It's on my wishlist and looks pretty interesting.

Initial impression is good. Attractive design, fun music. First few zones are fairly easy so you get to figure some things out before it starts trying to murder you too much. I've made it to the 3rd or 4th zone, at that point things are quite a bit meaner.
Pretty light weight as survival games go. Small areas to explore and raid for supplies broken up by running the river. The list of items and recipes is somewhat short. Depending on your priorities could be plus or minus.
7.50 on Steam sale this weekend which got me to pull the trigger.

Cool, I'm certainly watching it but even with the sale it is a bit too rich for my blood.

World Renowned Explorers seems right up my alley. Looking forward to getting to play it.
