Pertino finally introduces gateway functionality and prices it out of the SMB market.

Pertino released their gateway to enterprise plans only. This is just a complete waste to me.
Now obviously, I do not have access to their account numbers, but I do have access to clients that wish they could access the printers while using Pertino. Unfortunately the largest of them only has a 30 device Pertino account.
I love Pertino. I was a member of the original Spiceworks beta. I recommend Pertino to all my clients when they discuss mobile sales and service personnel connectivity.

Definitely seems odd that large scale companies would be moving toward this solution. On one hand the idea of not having to manage it at all by using a cloud solution is nice, but the price versus locally hosted VPN solution seems difficult to justify.
I agree with JB - SMBs are definitely looking for solutions like this but in a significantly lower price.

Definitely seems odd since Pertinio is really a SMB product anyway. Enterprises aren't really using it.

Prove it.

Pertino has always been a smart company. So I highly doubt that they are releasing this like this with no thought.

From what little I've seen, they've been finding larger companies than expected finding it really useful.

Bumping this.
Pertino looks like a perfect fit for a new client, the gateways feature looks amazing...
But sadly, Enterprise only. Why does that restriction exist. sigh
Looks like it's back to on site firewall with a site to site VPN.

Look at tier zero.

I have one user using the free ten devices license to connect to my server and grab files... No problems yet. And if you host it yourself, it's completely free.

I have 3 ZeroTier networks set up. It works great. They do have a bridging function, but it might only be for the Windows client as I turned it on with a Linux machine, but it didn't do anything. If you are using a Linux box, you can just set up the static routes like normal and use it as a bridge that way.
@dafyre set up a php script and bash script for hosting your own controller. They both work really well.
