Google Chrome: Start up crash

ntdll? Is it a network time issue?

I can't say that is the issue. Firefox runs fine, it's just Chrome. I've uninstalled it and am trying to install it,.. but it's seemingly hung up. Going to try a different route to clear it out and clean the registry...

Have you reinstalled? This is pretty common with corrupt updates

Use Revo to uninstall. Cleans out leftover files and the registry. Then, if you want to get really in-depth, run CCleaner and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.

Maybe try installing using Ninite?

I've not used Revo - But I did run CCleaner on it. Then using FF downloaded a new installer.

That's where it was hanging. Since it's my personal laptop, I use it to install update what I generally use. Most of the time I don't have any issues with it...

Interesting. I'd rip and reinstall. Revo Uninstaller is the name of the program. Great piece of software!

You may have a corrupted Google Update service. You will need to uninstall that too. It's a painful waiting process for that..

If you remove Google Update processes from your computer, you may find that your Google programs no long function properly and, in many cases, you may see Google Update return automatically.To fully uninstall Google Update, uninstall any Google applications you currently have installed. So now that Chrome is installed again,.. I noticed a little lag in the performance. Other than the one single tab open in Chrome it wasn't doing anything. But there were five listed Chrome Processes.. WT?
Also, what I noticed was several Installer or Updater processes:
I'm starting to really not like / trust Chrome... I don't need all this extra processes to slow the system down.

I use chromium based browsers rather than chrome itself which had ties into google (and isn't open source I believe).

It's the same just without the Google Bits and you have to install the NPAPI version of flash rather than use a built-in one as you have to have a special distribution license for Flash and Reader (IT Departments even need to request a free one and keep it on file to install flash or reader on their computers).
