      Illinois State Lottery: Organization Announces Delay in Payout for Winners

      Under law, the state comptroller has to issue checks for lottery winnings of more than $25,000, but until a budget is passed they will be unable to do so. Winnings have been delayed since July 1.

      Will this effect the state's credit rating? Two months of missing its payments is pretty huge.

              Sascha Pangallo, of Gold Coast, Queensland, said a driver named "Paul" ran her over as she exited the car, leaving her with a broken leg, a blood clot and several bruises, Seven News reported.

                                          Kemah, Texas: Armed Suspect Barricaded in Walgreens Fatally Shot Himself, Police Say

                                          The League City Police Department responded Tuesday morning to the Walgreens at 156 East 518, where the armed man had barricaded himself, officials said.

                                          This just happened literally down the street from me right now!!!
