Not for nothing, but the FDA is quite difficult, and it cost billions for new drugs to come to market, including decades of studies.
Without more detail, I don't see what is so bad about it. Besides the FDA getting their panties in a bunch.

I get that, the FDA is crap and a problem. But so are the pharmas. This one feels pretty solidly like the FDA was probably doing the right thing, more or less.

Maybe Japan all those countries near him, such as Japan and China and South Korea should start firing missiles over in their direction.
Seems to me this guy is really trying to start a war -- Saber-rattling or not.

Yeah, sure seems like he wants war, which makes no sense to me because it seems like it would spell his complete and total annihilation.

I was thinking the same thing - but then I considered China - what would they do?

Well didn't they recently change trade agreements that showed their desire to split away from N. Korea? I believe they stopped trading coal to them which was a large portion of N.Korea's coal. It's been a bit though so I don't know if I'm 100% accurate on that.

IIRC China provides 95% of NK imports. They have considerable power in this agreement. The big problem is that they may not want to do anything if it means strengthening the, already "hostile" to them, US in the Asian arena. It's a catch-22 of international proportions. They don't do anything and they risk war with the US. They do something and they have an emboldened US on their southern border which risks war with the US.
-
What really amazes me is that NK has a GDP half that of Montana. Yet they are investing in one of the most expensive R&D projects of modern times.
-
If this doesn't spark a war, whatever NK does next likely will.
China's biggest issue isn't a concern for war with the US, its the concern for all of the NK refugees that they would flooded with.
They simply don't want them.
The US's issue with NK is if we take out KJU there might be someone even worse who steps into take over. Who actively just launched missiles at everyone they can reach.
We can't just melt NK either, because the second we launch the NK army would launch everything at SK and any US allies. China would be pissed too, because NK is a buffer from the Democratic SK / US allies.

This is always a big concern. Who comes next could be far worse than the one before them.
I figure if KJU is smart enough, he'd not be in the country, or in a hidden bunker somewhere before he actually orders an attack on anyone.

Recommended reading. Opens with a staggering account of American hubris and an example of how completely incapable we are of protecting Seoul. At a time where we thought it was impossible to siege the city, we literally lost the city in hours on the same day that the military had reported it impenetrable.

Well how else are you supposed to loot, you certainly can't do it unarmed. . . That's how the police get you. . .
