Another great 1 liner from this guy: "I don't understand why this is so difficult??!!" Well, you've been in the office for 3 hours since Monday. Yeah, I would say it's pretty difficult to fix something when you're not here. Never mind the fact that over 20" of snow had fallen the past 3 days.
No work on Monday, now this dude is sick and I had to reschedule the keyboard replacement until Thursday. Bet he'll use THAT against me too.
Sounds like the beginning of a Doughnut_Destroyer rant from that spicy place.
What did he rant about?
You don't remember those epic rants of his in the hidden spicy pepper group?
How would I? I'm not a Spicy Pepper.
Do tell.
You're like the spiciest pepper they have, did a mod boot you out?
I think he opted out of joining that group.
To be honest it's not one I would join for fun. Only for self promotion / job hunting / networking.
Oh man I was like 600 points off of being a spicy pepper.
What's the number to hit? I am reasonably spicy over there. 16,023 Points
You have to be a Thai pepper... however many points that is.
15K

@scottalanmiller It's mostly the marketing research group for changes to their products.

Can't fool me. I've been in there. Only one thing goes on in that group.

So I got a 54 page DocuSign from RH to use them for placement. They said nothing about a DocuSign. Are they going to pay me back for ink and paper and my lawyer to review? This just seem asseniegn for job placement.

RH meaning Robert Half? Run away. I mean it. I won't even speak to them. I went into their offices one time and they gave me that paperwork. I looked through it and could not sign it. Walked out before the interview. They own you if you sign what they used to have - like you can't take any job without them and all kinds of things. It's BAD.

These are just our E-docs, it’s an online application and right to represent which is standard for all agencies to require
Thanks,
(Robert Half Person)
-
Funny how ALL AGENCIES have not asked me to sign one.

Yeah, that place is a scam. I don't know anyone on either side, hiring or IT pros, that will work with them. Anyone willing to hire through RH isn't someone you want to work for.

After the Arbitration paperwork they pretty much come right out and say you allow us to act as you to verify everything in your background and schools. aka we own your butt. Sweet jebus, NO!
-
We did that whole RH thing. My boss and I both learned from both sides not to do that again.
They require for you to work for them for 6 months while they skim off of your paycheck. After the 6 months, they charge the client company $5k to buyout your contract. Otherwise, you move on to other pastures, no matter if they're greener or not.

I told you, there is nothing that would make me every talk to them, on either side of the table.

17 second video from my realtor:

How is that even legal? It's 100% against the law here.

Not in the US. If you sign a contract of your own free will, it's hard to not have it be enforced. You could fight it in court, but you'd lose more than you'll lose just giving up. And in most states, you'd lose anyway since you, as a non-employee, signed the contract. They are a little like a union.

So at 5PM today I got an email saying that there will be edocs sent over from the person I had a skype meeting with.
Interesting, you sent the warning/fyi email about 5 hours AFTER someone already sent them to me.
This is just turning humorous. -
@Texkonc It's a sad, sad state of affairs over there.
