My wife and son watch Fraiser all the time, I believe this is the 3rd time they are running though the series. I just watched Iron Sky, which was mildly entertaining!

Iron Sky was friggin awesome. Then again I liked warped sci-fi alt-history humor.

My wife is Japanese, so it really goes without saying, that we will have dishes with rice often.

None of the rice outside of Japan is the same due to Japan's strict policy and high tariffs on rice. That is driven by a heavily vested political faction and is one of the big issues with Japan joining the TPP.
That said, we buy the 15# bags of Nishiki medium grain rice from http://www.globalfoodsmarket.com/directory.htm

We have a lot of Rice Varieties here, but of course rice from country side are the best
