Yes you can. I just did one from five days ago in this thread to test. It says test edit, about one page up from here.

The edit button is missing for me. And now I'm on a machine I've never been to ML on before.... still missing.

What about chat, quote and reply? On mine all four are hidden until you tap on the bar.

I see "chat quote reply flag" but no edit.
FYI, as long as I'm the last one to have posted I can edit the post (like this one now)

Nice cake, I am very specifically not showing that to my 6yo (her 6th b-day is friday). She is planning on making a cake with her mom after school on Friday.
Motoko would NOT be happy with me.
She had a birthday party this past saturday as i've mentioned. We bought the cake for this one from Whole Foods.
