So in honor of the new movie's release and the return of John Carpenter to the franchise I've set my ringtone to the Halloween theme.... probably is the only calls I get these days are quickly dismissed by the Hiya app spam calls.... may need to instead set it as an alarm tone... that should be interesting... (waking up to the halloween theme).

This is so true. But for me, zero family calls me, literally zero. And it is maybe one reminder a year. Normally for pest control. I don't have a single friend or family member that calls me on the house line, and just a couple friends that do on my cell.
Somehow I've avoided the political calls, though.

I have a land line, but it's VoIP. VoIP over fiber, using an enterprise PBX hosted in the cloud. But it still comes over the land fiber line.

It is a land line, NOT a POTS land line.
