Sooooooooooooo tempted to buy a 3D Printer since you can get one for under £200 now...............But not sure after printing 2-3 things that look cool what I would use it for lol.

We have a makers space here in town that has two higher end printers. Anyone can send prints to them, you basically pay for the plastic and a small additional fee.
Until you're going to be making a lot of things, it's probably not worth it with resources like that.

Also check local colleges / technical colleges. They may have them available. (I found out that we have one available here).

AFAIK it's open to the public. Like @Dashrender , though there's a small fee & you pay for the mats.

We have a makerspace in Carrolton too. Same setup and agreement.

Use it for a while, then sell it to someone else.
