That sucks. Hope all is well otherwise.

Trying to find an affordable server rack with wheels that can house my server, switch and UPS. Server and UPS are big. Seems difficult to find something I can afford
You can always build one yourself from an Ikea Lack table: http://lifehacker.com/5479251/upgrade-your-lackrack-to-lackrack-20

The server is huge. I'm doubting I could pull it off with that. I am aware of those though and they do work well for switches etc

I'd be more worried about noise.

The real trick is using the metal mounting brackets for extra support.

Do you mean front and rear mounting it?

Your clear misunderstanding of what the conversation was about is evident you haven't attempted to use XS and XO.
I fully admit that I stopped reading the thread about 5 posts in.
But I did and do have an XS and XO system currently running that I just haven't migrated away from XS yet.
I'm at the point where I could use ESXi free and never be able to tell the difference other than some scripts would need modified. I'd also have a wider range of tools to use.

Eh? I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?

No templates is a bit one for me.

Right now I use KVM. We don't back up the VMs at all really other than Gitlab. Everything is stored in code. If there is stateful data it's mounted from somewhere or it's replicated between multiple VMs on different hosts. So I could take out my KVM servers and replace them with the free ESXi and probably not know the difference.
