I'm again looking to replace a few laptop batteries. What vendors do you use?

      Batteries Plus
      Batteries-Unlimited (local)
      BattDepot.com
      NewEgg
      TigerDirect

Who should in theory have better pricing?

I always search 3 vendors every time for every thing I buy.

I recall Scott saying something about not beating up vendors to save a buck?

Generally batteries plus or random website #5 depending on prices and immediacy of need.

Oh we never negotiate. Our Vendor of Choice most of the time is Softmart. However as of late they do not seem to have the stock we need. So I just do a quick check online and see what I can get from 3 vendors. Whomever has the best price wins if Softmart doesn't have what I need.

I generally check out MNJTech and PCConnection for these types of things. MNJ has been really good at having the odd one off items.
