Voicemail to Microsoft 365 email
-
Hello,
Quick backstory, we switched from in house exchange to Microsoft 365 and finally after 10 months shut down our local exchange server. I thought I had everything working for voicemail being set to go from PBX to Exchange Online but realized it wasn't the case when I didn't receive a VM that someone said they left me.
I followed this thread:
https://community.freepbx.org/t/voicemail-to-email/65641
using option 2 from here
But I am still not receiving voicemails to email. PBX system still says I have 10 in the queue.

@WLS-ITGuy so to be clear , it was working and now all the sudden it is not working? Direct Send would work only for internal domains emails on your Office 365.
-
@dbeato Up until 3 days ago I was getting voicemails from the system or at least I thought I was.
So wouldn't [email protected] sending an email to [email protected] be an internal send? Or even though it is "internal" because my pbxhost is on campus and exchange is online it isn't "internal"?
-
@WLS-ITGuy Yeah, that would work. I would try to check what has changed on your PBX.
-
@dbeato Also is see this "[email protected]" shouldn't it be "[email protected]"?

In System Admin, under hostname I see [email protected]

This all depends on how you are sending email.
I send to O365 unauthenticated.
I created a connector in O365 and manually tweaked postfix settings on the PBX.
Do you have SysAdmin Pro? If so, you will have this.
If you choose external, you will have an option for O365

@JaredBusch
Like this: -
Something else weird is that usually when I make a change and hit submit - I get the red apply button in the upper right corner but the last couple changes I haven't been getting that. Guess It is time for a server reboot.

You get that for changes that affect the Asterisk dial plan, which is most things.
But email settings have nothing to do with the dial plan.
-
Hey look at that. I learned something new today.

Yes.
After making some changes I restarted the postfix service and got this log entry:
