Re: How to install SuiteCRM 7.8.3 on Fedora 25 Minimal
Just following up on this guide @JaredBusch wrote some time ago. Are you still using SuiteCRM and how has it performed and behaved since you deployed this?
-
We used it for a little while, but still found it too cumbersome, heavy, and not matching our workflow. For us, a spreadsheet did the job better.
-
The client never got in to using it. No buy in from the main users.
Ended up buying upgrades to ACT!
Then hated the new version of that and is now in process of migrating to Salesforce.

@JaredBusch That's a shame all of the effort to go and get it going to not bother with it and move on.
Oh well.

It is much more complicated than I need. So it was never about me using it. It was setup for a client to test out.
Even counting my setup time it was very inexpensive for them to look into.
Would be nice to see someone use it and use it well, but meh.

Did anyone use it at all during the 'trial' period? or did end users just at it and walk away?
I love the fact that the company at least was willing to try something - then move to something else.. instead of just being stuck.. it might be costly to do so.. but at least they are working toward a solution they will hopefully like and works well for them.

Yes. It was used by a trial group. But then afterwards, it was never a) forced or b) even pushed on the main users.
