Nothing that would be nearly as powerful or free (without limitations).
Now's a perfect time to get started.

Once you get passed the install part, you will be doing all the work through a web browser anyway.

Spiceworks I believe can do that, although it's a bulky tool that isn't well maintained.
By "isn't well maintained", he means it was discontinued a few years ago. Not exactly the same. It's not a maintenance problem, they simply decided that the product didn't have a future and took the company in a different direction.

@scottalanmiller hey hey hey. . don't go burying any hatchets around here okay.

Not a bad main page. OpenNMS has been around a long time.

PDQ inventory has a free version, it will pull Dell service tags.
-
@RojoLoco I didn't even know that was a thing.

It works a charm. Some limitations on the free version, but there are plenty of usable features.

Hi,
I know Spiceworks inventory can collect compute name and software installed. Can it also collect the Dell PC model, service tag and domain users for the computer? Or is there other free tools that can assist me collect the data above?
Is free a requirement?

I wouldn't use Zabbix for this. Definitely way more overhead then what you'd get out of it.
