Nextcloud- Hyper-v?

we dont 'need' putty at work. there's no SSL connections that we do here
SSH for Putty (Putty is also the best Telnet client for your legacy stuff), SSL is more general and you are using it right now.

Cockpit makes it so that you don't need Putty, but aren't going through the console like with Vultr's console.

Copy and paste using the native OpenSSH client on Windows 10 1803 works well.

That's true, that works, too.

No Putty at work? Enable Cockpit (likely on by default) to give you far better access even via web only.
Copy and Paste doesn’t work.

correct; I knew what I meant, I just didn't type it out the right way.
I was meaning SSH (Secure Shell of course - not Secure Socket Layer. ) -

Works here on Fedora 28 just fine.

@scottalanmiller Doesn't seem to work here. How did you copy and paste? Keyboard?

Not sure how I copied, likely keyboard. Then pasted via mouse for sure.

@scottalanmiller Doesn't work here on IE, FF or GC.

You are on Fedora 28, with native Cockpit? I didn't do anything special, it's a recent install.

@wrcombs I do! If you don't want to build it yourself, check out Dan's stuff at https://www.techandme.se/
Specifically: https://shop.hanssonit.se/product/nextcloud-vm-microsoft-hyper-v/
I started with one of his builds, then as I became more familiar and comfortable, I started building them myself on Hyper-V. Now I have a couple on AWS LightSail. I don't use Nextcloud for too much, it's mostly for my pics, notes, and bookmarks.
