Anybody ever see desktop.ini in the startup folder?
Never came across this before, just showed up on a site.

It can get created in any folder the user views with Windows Explorer.

I saw it is a hidden file that can just show up.. No other reason behind it?

It's a custom appearance configuration file. It defines how the folder is displayed in the Explorer.

Every folder in a user profile has an .ini file as far as I have known Windows.

I just never saw desktop.ini before so I was curious.

I understand, sometimes it can become corrupt and a reboot usually fixes them.
