I has for a while now, but you need to install the full version and the storage add-on. Don't think it was included with the basic install included with a new system.

Nice The Nas thread (https://mangolassi.it/topic/16397/nas-alternative-on-the-cheap) got me thinking about that.

I believe it’s created under user session or something like that.

The ones I create in virt-manager show up in Cockpit, but not the other way around.

                          Don't blame Cockpit, that's a user error.
                          Works fine for me.

Did you log in to cockpit as root or with your account and made sure to enable Reuse my password for privileged tasks at the login screen?

Without it, in Virt Manager, your vm will be located under QEMU/KVM User session. You might have to add a new connection in Virt Manager to see it.

Creating VM in QEMU/KVM user session (qemu:///session) defaults to /home/user1/.local/share/libvirt/images/
Creating VM in QEMU/KVM (qemu:///system) defaults to /var/lib/libvirt/images/

In Cockpit, if you forget to login with Reuse my password for privileged tasks checked with user1. All created VMs will show up in /home/user1/.local/share/libvirt/images/ and in Virt Manager under QEMU/KVM user session.

If you login as root or user1 with Reuse my password for privileged tasks checked. All created VMs will show up in /var/lib/libvirt/images/ and in Virt Manager under QEMU/KVM.

After you login, you should see padlock unlocked next to your account on the top right page if you enabled Reuse my password for privileged tasks.

                                Thanks for the help @black3dynamite

I'm definitely going to be adding this to a couple of my systems and see how nicely it plays with Ubuntu and Debian at bare minimum.
