Is cockpit available for centos 7? Haven't really looked yet.
Yup but not latest version so there are missing features,
yum -y update
yum install cockpit
yum install cockpit-machines # Optional for KVM Managing
https://server-ip:9090You can install the beta version of it here:
http://pldelisle.no-ip.info:8090/display/HomeNetwork/Install+Cockpit+beta+in+CentOS+7But even after using this link the max we can get is
157-1.el7.centosUnless someone can search this repo for something better:

It's the same on Fedora.
If you want the "full-blown, everything" cockpit, you have to update & install cockpit. You can also install the optional features:

I can't add a VM?

http://pldelisle.no-ip.info:8090/display/HomeNetwork/Install+Cockpit+beta+in+CentOS+7Why would you need a beta version when the current version 161 is good & ready to go (aka production ready)?
-
-
@fateknollogee I just installed it on CentOS
-
I installed cockpit-machines
-
Check your version of Cockpit. To create VMs, it has to be 161.

Y'all ever heard of Fedora...:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: https://getfedora.org/en/server/

Ya CentOS is always way behind.

We're using a fork of CentOS that's supported by a major vendor.

A fork? That's even worse

Whats your thought on Oracle Linux ?
https://linux.oracle.com/switch/centos/
Besides the fact that we are talking about Oracle, the idea itself is neat the ability to switch seamlessly and get support for people that need that cause they got smart linux people + no need to reformat and reinstall like RHEL ?

It’s just silly IMHO. If you want support, you need RHEL. If you want to save money, use CentOS. Oracle Linux is a silly middle ground. It’s just a random company selling CentOS under a “cool name”.
-
To promote it their FAQ is all wrong. Which suggests that they don’t even have a casual knowledge of Linux. I see literally zero, possibly even negative, value to their product.
-
And it’s based around CentOS and RHEL which I would only deploy when absolutely necessary. Fedora for critical workloads instead.

When using the VNC console only the keyboard works and mouse works, but clicking does not.
Is that normal?
Update: Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 all don't work.
