    Upgrading Firmware on Polycom

      Upgrading the firmware on these phones is incredibly tedious.

      You'd can't just say "upgrade to version X" you have to manually upgrade to each revision to get to version X.

      That's my rant for the day.

        While Polycoms are solid phones, I consistently find them annoying.

            There might be a few you can skip, but yeah, it's pretty much sequential. When I upgraded the firmware on our SoundStation 6000 (since the Altigen system required ancient firmware), it took several upgrades to get it current.

              Yikes, I have Polycoms but my question is what model and version?
