Been using pigeon for a while after losing my MiRC license info. Curious as to what client anyone else is using.

I've been spending a lot more time in IRC due to developer stuff.

        For IRC, what about HexChat?

used xchat for a long time but when it became hexchat it developed a different feel.

I don't use any really, I play with HexChat every so often. I really never use IRC so I just know it's the default most places and that it works when I try it, but I use so little, I can't tell if it is good or bad compared to anything else. But it is free and almost always included and default.

Oh the rare occasion I need to use irc chat, I use hexchat as well, unless I'm too lazy and they have irc web chat.

Most of what I am in to right now just seems to be dominated by IRC. While they are auxiliary groups and forums for said projects its just easier to get up with devs where they hang out all day.

I used Pidgin on Windows, and there is a version for it on Linux that I have never tried as I have not used IRC in a few years.

IRC is just really dead outside of a few circles.

Same here, haven't used IRC in many years.

Weechat. Is much better and modern than IRSSI.
