      I've not normally had to work in the Console of Server 2012 other than to perform updates and restart.

      But I need to locate the resources that are on the server. CPUs, Memory etc...

      I see a script to take it from Console mode to GUI, but it requires a restart - not something I can perform mid day.

      The Hyper-V Manager doesn't seem to show the information - unless it's not set to,.. Will MMC do this?

        Can you open "msinfo32.exe" from command line?

        I forget if thats on there or not.

          That pulled up the SysInfo box. might be all I need.
