Zoom was used for MangoCon 2017 for the live stream. We have used it also for training - the host or host approved attendee can record the session as well.
It worked really well, and NTG is using it when the need arises.

I just did a huge conference with this over 200 participants from all over the world. Works great.

We use it for all of our remote meetings, conferences, and online education meetings. It's a really robust system. There is even an LMS plugin that we use to coordinate our classes to specific meeting IDs.

Huge fan of Zoom after it's sucess with MangoCon. Price is right too. Moving away my One-off's that we used to use join.me for

I ended up recommending Zoom to a client about 4 months ago as the best choice for their needs.

I've had bad luck with both WebEx and GoToMeeting. So much setup and downloading needed, things always seem to break or, if they work, just take forever to get working. They don't run in browser but need things like Java, which I don't normally have on desktops. And they often don't detect microphones or whatever well.

We use Webex here, not the best but it works. Definitely pricey, but we have it because that's what our customers are used to using, so.....
