Looks like @Dominica works for Hostadillo too!
And your point is.... AGAIN THEY HAVE HIRED NTG!!!!!
Shouting isn't nice. Seems like a conflict of interest as @Danp mentions. How does the community know that Hostadillo isn't NTG? @scottalanmiller sure is pushing the service, but I can't sign up to try it so I can't attest to worth the service.
By pushing, do you mean I mentioned it? Can you define pushing please?

Right, I found it crazy that you call that pushing. So okay, we are on the same page. Two mentions of "Hostadillo I hope" and starting that SMBITJournal is on it are what you call pushing. So... that clarifies that.

A lot of folks are talking but no one is saying anything...
Who owns Hostadillo? (Me thinks thats what the OP is "trying" to ask

It says right on the page and the OP even said it. He knew right from the start who owned it. The goal was never to find that out.

It's more of a quesadilla with armadillo. Which, maybe you don't know, tastes like chicken.
oh yeah, how do you know that?!?! you must own it!!!1!
Seriously though, there is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting a customer's business. Maybe a better way to put it would be "Hey, NTG has this really awesome new customer that does wordpress hosting, you should check them out"

They're not ashamed of it. I'm just wondering what all of the digging is all about. Are they trying to find some dirty laundry some where? Attempting to accuse of money laundering or something?

It's amazing how much money laundering you can do with a few web site hosts LOL
Ten dollars here, ten dollars there. It all adds up.

What's odd is with the hundreds of times I've pushed A Small Orange, no one ever complained about that.

Micro-laundering or crowd-laundering. I give everyone $10 cash to go and purchase something from a particular website for $7 in traceable money. I'm rich at $70.

@scottalanmiller & @Dominica own DCH...DCH owns Hostadillo, correct?
Did we really need a 40+ thread for someone to say that? -

Because you don't have an stake in ASO.
-
I just looked, it only takes a second to see that I've pushed CloudWays and ASO way more.

EIG
I still don't get your point, I see you are pushing the limits of an online community by asking more and more personal questions... -

What does it matter to you what he owns and doesn't own? That is really none of your business. This is `Merica, the land of the free, where we can invest the money into what we want, when we want, and how we want.

I understand it to a point. Knowing who is involved where does matter. I don't disagree there. The problems come from mixing things together and making assumptions that anyone in IT would know don't add up - like that an MSP technical contact doesn't imply ownership.
It's very public that I work with DCH and that DCH is an NTG customer. In fact, there was plenty of talk of my DCH work at the conference dinner just last night. There's no secret here.
Why it matters in this case, in this way, I'm unclear. And two mentions of the site, mentions, are a case for pushing? Considering the website isn't even announced is pretty extreme. That's the weird part. If it was "wow, he mentioned it once" this would have been a different discussion. Suddenly mentioning it once is "pushing it all over" and someone made two troll accounts to mention it 50x more than I ever did... if I was an outsider, I'd guess that the OP worked for Hostadillo and was pushing an agenda to get the name out there. Especially since he took the Hostadillo account name.
Dominica has no involvement in Hostadillo, however. The OP is confused between she's a web designer and did work on the website. That's what she does, she designs websites. So many of the pieces here come from missing that I've publicly stated my involvement many times, confusing technical contacts with business ones, confusing web designers with other roles and so forth.
