Since @scottalanmiller is recommending Hostadillo all over the place I desided to check them out.
After looking around it's clear this is a fake hosting company. No way to sign up for hosting online, ipsum text all over the place, broken links, no contact infomation anywhere, half of the links post back to http://orion-host.redstone.studio, looks like a wordpress site someone didn't setup fully.
Then at the bottom of one of the pages I see "Dutch Colonial Heritage". I have heard of this before, I could have swear that's who started Mangolassi, so I searched, and found nothing, so I decided to check out archive.org as I was sure I had seen this before on Mangolassi.

MangoLassi is a proof of concept, and hopefully flagship, internally managed online community from GroveSocial which is a subsidiary of Dutch Colonial Heritage Development Corporation (DCHDC) in Texas.
This post seems to have been deleted, as I can no longer find it in the community.
So is Hostadillo run by Mangolassi? or NTG?
I can speak to GroveSocial, and MangoLassi.it and NTG.
Grovesocial has hired NTG to provide hosting services, IT Support and Community Technical Management. This is not my area of expertise so yes I hired a company that I trust (of course I trust them yes there is a tie as NTG is my day job).
MangoLassi.it is a bit beyond proof of concept at this point. We are over 3 years old now our traffic and community participation is more than concept.
GroveSocial is owned by Me. MangoLassi.it is owned by me, under GroveSocial NTG is a Corporation and does not own Hostadillo they are a customer. We are asked to this type of technical/administrative services.

MangoLassi is not a company. MangoLassi is a product of GroveSocial.

The weird part of this is I literally talk to Scott every day. We've spoken about his side projects as friends and he has never even mentioned Hostadillo. I guess my question is why is the explanation given not enough for you? It seems personal or something
