Interesting - kinda like european prices - what you see is what you really pay, all taxes are already included in listed price. I do and don't like that.

All taxes and fees being included in the list price is amazing. It should be that way for literally everything I have no idea why it isn't.

Well - for me personally - I like the like item break out - it "helps ensure the public is aware of what they are being taxed" But in reality - the public doesn't care. They'll bitch and moan about it, but very few if any will actually do anything about it.

The entire broadband industry suing Vermont to stop NN vote.

3 states AGs are actively supporting the FCC in their repeal of NN.

This doesn't surprise me at all. What I'm surprised about is that the entire bible belt isn't openly supporting it...

In only that private organisations can't really infringe on first amendment rights... Not that they won't infringe on free speech and freedom of the press.

Does this mean that the military and police forces need to be privatized so they don't infringe on our rights either?

Supreme Court rejects industry challenge of 2015 net neutrality rules
But lawsuits over Pai's net neutrality repeal and California law will continue. -
"Blackburn has argued in favor of paid prioritization, saying that websites and online services should pay ISPs for priority access just as Americans pay for TSA Precheck in order to go through airport security lines faster."

That's a great example of why paid prioritization is a problem. TSA Precheck is BS. "Fast lanes for the rich to bypass security?" WTF America.

I do love my TSA Precheck, but totally agree that it is bullshit. If my company didn't pay for it, I would have never gotten it.

I don't consider this the same at all.
With TSA precheck - people are put through a security background check - as long as you don't have anything outstanding about yourself, they (TSA) have less to worry about you over. Is it great? no of course not, but as that show (can't recall name now) showed - TSA is all theater anyhow.

Adam Ruins Everything.
Yeah, it's all fake. And so it isn't prioritizing people with a good record, it's just prioritizing those that pay to line jump.

Considering the other current options - I'm OK with that.

You are okay with paid prioritization in the public space?
