@Grey The Greatest American Hero
Remo Williams I always hated they never did more TV or movies with those books.
I'm a big fan of action adventure books, TV and movies, is that what normally are?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Destroyer_(novel_series)
The series' hero is Remo Williams, a Newark cop framed for a crime and sentenced to death. His death is faked by the government so he can be trained as an assassin for CURE, a secret organization set up by President Kennedy to defend the country by working outside the law. The head of CURE is Harold W. Smith, a man selected by the President not only for his brilliant mind but also because of his integrity. Smith was a former law instructor at Yale and served in the Office of Strategic Services during World War II.Remo's trainer and father-figure is Chiun, a deadly assassin and the last Master of Sinanju. It has also emerged that Remo is the Avatar of Shiva, as prophesied in the legends of Sinanju. In 1985, a revision of The Assassin's Handbook was published as Inside Sinanju, a companion book to the series. This is narrated primarily in the first person, from Chiun's perspective. It covers anecdotes as well as information on the various villains and history of the series.
Read 1 book of that series when I was a kid and it was pretty cool.

Just watched Godzilla, the recent remake. Acceptable. Nothing special, but I'm not a fan of the original. But I get that this was a good entry for the genre.

Just the other day my neighbors were telling me the 2014 on with Brian Cranston is excellent. Like everything good about the old classics with updated effects.

Watching the 2016 Ghostbusters now, I've never seen it.
-
Frank Zappa - Live at the Roxy on Amazon prime. So far it appears to be the full, legendary concert from which the album was taken. 2nd Zappa CD I ever bought (was probably 15 at the time).

I thought it was decent. It was not awesome. But I had no problem with it. That said I’m really looking forward to Ghostbusters three

I found the writing to be way too slow paced. I kept nodding off. It wasn't "bad", and I don't have a problem with the cast, although I didn't really like the ensemble, it didn't feel like they were working too closely together, and the secretary was just over the top absurd which was distractingly slapsticky, but had the writing been tighter / directing been more aggressive to keep the story moving along faster, I think it would have been decent.
The new one looks amazing. But sadly got pushed out a year.
