What kind of hard drive is this. . . .
It's IDE/PATA. . . .
Yeah, I was thinking "how young is this kid?!?!" Seems like I still have some of those around here.
I have some of those sitting around... but they were on the way out when I was just starting to do system building.

Not only is it PATA, is Quantum.
Quantum... had several of those before they went under....
Pretty sure Hard Drive division was bought by Maxtor.

Where the hell does one begin with this topic?

Didn't Maxtor disappear long ago?

Swallowed by Seagate in 2006 apparently. Possibly the branding is still about in the world for some purposes.

@DustinB3403 Is it possible to patch with the community edition of XO? I thought that was disabled.
He could easily patch it from XC too and not break anything...

Nothing is disabled from the community edition besides XOSAN (xocloud) which may or may not be made available to the community.

@dustinb3403 ah yeah, there it is... I haven't seen it before. Never really looked that hard either, since I just started using it with XS7.2. Hopefully it doesn't bring down my VMs to update like XC wants to since I just clicked it
-
@bnrstnr You can use the community version using this installation process.

Windows Server 2016 VM Licensing
I can't even. . .

@dustinb3403 I use it for everything now, I've just never patched my hosts with it. First XS7.2 patches just came out recently.

The levels of OMFG WTF just don't add up here... it would be like buying a new Cisco Meraki Contract for 5 years when you already own Ubiquiti. . .
VMWARE / QNAP NAS / Migrated from local storage to the QNAP and is then Backing up the VM to an SSD attached to the QNAP NAS!

How do you check the health of Windows after patching?
I can't even post to it because SW F***ed up their forums.... but what the hell!
-
Not really a bad question, it's just worded oddly and he overlooked the obvious.

WTF. . . the question is "how do I setup a vpn" yet he has no clue and is apparently working in IT based on the topic. . .

WTF does Exchange have to do with VMWare. . .
Why are they connected somehow and why would this kind of functionality exist?

Your quote says nothing about VMWare, and there is no link.

Look at the image carefully, what subforum is the topic posted in. And what is the subject of the post?
